  • Otoscopic Examination – A visual inspection of the ear canal and eardrum.
     

  • Tympanometry – Middle ear testing to detect any potential issues.
     

  • Speech Testing in Quiet – Assessing word clarity and understanding.
     

  • Speech Testing in Background Noise (QuickSIN) – Measuring your ability to hear in noisy environments.
     

  • Pure Tone Audiometry (Air & Bone Conduction) – Determining the type and stage of hearing loss.

Tinnitus Assessment & Treatment

We offer specialized evaluations and treatment plans to help manage tinnitus using prescriptive hearing aid technology.

 

The most effective, and direct, treatment for tinnitus is proper stimulation of the auditory system. By re-stimulating damaged nerves that connect your ear to your brain, the brain’s instinctive sound replacement activity decreases—helping to reduce or even eliminate tinnitus symptoms.

Cognitive Screening

Hearing loss and cognitive function are closely linked. Our Cognivue Thrive screening provides insight into cognitive health by measuring memory, processing speed, and executive function which are often affected by hearing loss.

  • Based on FDA-cleared technology used by neurologists and physicians.

  • Health Canada approved for medical use in December 2021.
     

  • Results are comparable to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test (MoCA).
